More info

Jupiter's magic square is of order 4 and has a constant of 34. Jupiter's magic square is of order 4 and has a constant of 34. This square has many extraordinary characteristics. First of all, we observe that it can be easily obtained by constructing a 4x4 square filled with all numbers from 1 to 16 in their natural order. Then, by simply exchanging the eight numbers that appear on the peripheral frame in the central positions, in an anti-symmetrical way, the Magic Square is obtained. This square is of the pandiagonal type, because it also provides the solution with the four corner squares, with the four sub-squares of 2×2 squares, with the central square and even on the broken diagonals.
