More info

Villa la Capponcina: The Italian poet left an important mark on the house in Via della Capponcina n. 32, in Settignano, Florence, decorating it with fifteenth-century furniture.
He lived here like a Renaissance prince, surrounded by numerous servants, by a lot of dogs and horses.
The villa is best known for being the scene of the love between the poet and the theater actress Eleonora Duse, who lived a few steps away, at Villa Porziuncola (at n. 75 on the other side of the street).
