The tile is ancient while the cross was sculpted by us.
The Maltese cross, also known as the cross of Saint John, was the symbol of the maritime republic of Amalfi at least since the 11th century, as confirmed by some Amalfi tarì from 1080 on which this cross clearly stands out.
