Danilo Cartei (Signa 12 May 1920 - 7 December 2002). He was an Italian painter
Gifted with natural talent, with the teaching of Giuseppe Santelli and following the example of his brother Alvaro, Danilo showed great skills as a designer from a very young age that led him to be considered almost a prodigy boy.A portrait of him of the Duce that appeared in a newspaper in 1933 earned him a photo with a dedication by Mussolini himself, but his main passion was represented by drawing animals of all kinds that he reproduced with extreme accuracy. His work will in fact be almost completely dedicated to the reproduction of animals in drawings and in ceramics.
