Coming from Carmignano fortress (Prato-Tuscany) that as been strengthened by Castruccio Castracani Lucca (1281/ 1328) after the conquest of that middle age village on the 1328.

The villa has b-een rearranged on 1500 and during the 1700 holded in the middle the original plant, the tower that was abode of Castruccio Castracani ( man of arms and very important lordship of Lucca)
