Ancient bench we bought from the "Villa Apuana" in Forte dei Marmi, already known as "Villa Siemens", part of the garden furniture of the famous residence of Herta Harries von Siemens, daughter of the German steel mill magnate and wife by the chemist Karl Dietich Harries.
Silvestro Lega (Modigliana, 8 December 1826 - Florence, 21 November 1895) was an Italian painter. Together with Giovanni Fattori and Telemaco Signorini, it is considered one of the leading exponents of the Macchiaioli movement.
