The three rhombs of different colors form a hexagon that proposes the Optical version, taken over by Leonardo Da Vinci in the fifteenth century.
This floor has been uninterruptedly designed for over 2400 years, it was common in ancient Greece and in Magna Greece since the 5th century BC.
Look at the Greek / Roman Epoch Mozia floor photos and the medieval floor of the Church of San Martino in Lucca dated 1270.
