Ancient so-called "slide manger" in white Carrara marble, very heavy. It has some cracks which we restored and fixed with brass bars. The object is particularly interesting due to its shape. The manger positioned on horizontal ground has an apparently strange oblique tendency. This is due to the "chute" production, these troughs were used exclusively for pork. The basin was filled with the typical pig mash and after the animal had fed it could be easily washed thanks to the oblique internal "slide" surface, just one bucket of water was enough!
