Our original ancient tiles in Andrea Camilleri's latest book, published by Edizioni Henry Beyle, with light blue canvas paper jacket, inside the images of nine ancient tiles applied by hand.

On the cover, a tile from the kitchen of the large country house in Porto Empedocle, built in the 18th century and inhabited by Camilleri's maternal grandparents, had beautiful majolica floors.
