More info

The Grand Hotel Baglioni is a structure that is part of the history of Florence. Officially opened on 12 August 1903, over more than 100 years it has played host to kings and heads of state, artists and intellectuals, carving out its place as a true landmark of the cultural and economic life of the city.
The building that houses the hotel was built in the second half of 1800 by Prince Carrega di Lucedio. In the years following the prince’s move to Rome, the centrality of the building and its proximity to Santa Maria Novella station contributed to its transformation into a luxury hotel; the name Grand Hotel Baglioni comes from the conversion of the building at the hands of its namesake family.
Today, more resplendent than ever, the Grand Hotel Baglioni is not only a symbol of a long tradition and keeper of deep values handed down over the years, but synonymous with elegance and sophistication, perfectly combined with the modernity of all the finest amenities.
