These are handcrafted lanterns, handmade and can also be made to measure, absolutely not comparable to imported mass-produced lanterns.
Our lanterns are made from a 10/10 thick copper sheet and are entirely "tin" soldered by hand. The evident dripping of tin along the joints is an indication of craftsmanship, tin soldering was carried out up to the end of the 19th century, in modern times the copper is electro-welded.
On the top of the lantern there is a brass pine cone and in the lower part there is the 4-arm support.
There is a simplified version where the tinsel, the pine cone and the four-armed support do not appear (see last two photos), this version costs € 600 including VAT.
