Fountain/Flowerpot in terracotta with lion heads, designed by Galileo Chini in 1920 for the Terme Berzieri in Salsomaggiore Terme.
Originally the fountain was in gold and turquoise majolica.
Galileo Chini (1873 – 1956) was an Italian decorator, designer, painter, and potter. A prominent member of the Italian Art nouveau movement, called Stile Liberty.
