Federico Andreotti (Florence, 1847 - Florence, 1930)
In 1861 he enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence under the guidance of Enrico Pollastrini and Stefano Ussi. He devoted himself to oil, to watercolor but also to fresco, painting landscapes, portraits, female figures, genre scenes, historical scenes and still lifes with historical scenes, especially in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. In his works he mixed a certain technical precision on Impressionist territories. As illustrator he worked for Renato Fucini illustrating the tale Dolci ricordi in Veglie di Neri (ed. 1890).
