Sergio's sofa in iron and wood

Code art.: 14809
Price: 980,00 €

This nineteenth-century style chair and sofa were reproduced by us, thanks to the commitment of Dr. Sergio Balata who kindly provided us with an original copy, which he owned. Said holotype comes from the famous Grand Hotel Palace in Lugano. Dr. Balata came into possession of the chairs thanks to the interest of the Swiss citizen Mrs. Anna Ganzinelli. The Grand Hotel Palace is a historic building dating back to 1855, then it was called Albergo del Parco. Below you can see an original photo of the time. Now the surrounding area has been destined to the new cultural center of the city with the construction of a theater and a museum. The building has been refurbished into a complex consisting of 28 high quality apartments.
