The Richard-Ginori, controlled by Richard Ginori s.r.l., was founded in 1735 as Manifattura di Doccia, founded by the Marquis Carlo Ginori in the town of Doccia (Florence). It is famous throughout the world for porcelain, whose production is still located in Sesto Fiorentino, despite the merger with the industrial group of the Milanese Augusto Richard, owner of other plants, which took place in 1896, from which the current name, and the constant growth of product volume.
